Senior safety and wellness is our main concern. While we have had to cancel current activities, check out these resources to keep connected!
It’s important to continue to enjoy daily life as much as possible when spending more time at home. This is a list of free activities that can be enjoyed from home during the Coronavirus outbreak. Most require a computer or smart phone, but one can be enjoyed via any type of telephone, as indicated.

HOW DO YOU FEEL? Are you feeling anxious or depressed?
You can call to speak to a senior depression counselor and be screened/referred for free counseling services: 815.701.6605. WE will work with you in home or through video chat.
If you feel lonely, you can call the Institute on Aging’s Friendship Line: 800.971.0016
If you are experiencing a fever, cough or shortness of breath, please seek immediate medical attention.
WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED?
FOOD or GROCERIES: There is help available for home delivered meals, food pantry items, and even proxy shoppers who will do the shopping for you.
TRANSPORTATION to medical appointments and proxy medication pick up is also available.
