Senior Care Volunteer Network of McHenry County (formally Faith In Action) provides volunteer services to seniors such as transportation, household help and yard work. FIA also has a Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet provides equipment such as wheelchairs at no cost.
Prairie State Legal Services, Inc. Senior Citizens Legal Services Project provides free of charge for seniors to assist with civil and non criminal cases such as evictions, social security payments, etc.
Family Alliance is a geriatric social service agency that provides adult day care, dementia services and support programs for seniors 55 and older.
